MorseDock is designed to work with as little data collection as practical. The message you type is translated and converted to audio in your browser.
Messages and audio
Text entered into the translator is processed in your browser. MorseDock does not require you to submit the message to create a translation or WAV file.
Local preferences and shared links
Playback preferences such as WPM, tone, volume, repeat, and light may be stored in your browser. If you choose Share link, the message and selected settings are placed in the URL so another browser can reproduce them. Do not share a link containing sensitive information.
Analytics and hosting
MorseDock uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage, such as visited pages, approximate device and browser information, and interaction activity. Google may use cookies or similar technologies to process this information. The hosting platform may also process ordinary request information needed to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. MorseDock currently has no account system.
